Surf & Adventure trip in one of Latin America’s most magestic destinations
Join us November 14th - 21st
Guatemala is for the ones who want it all. The kind of trip where you push yourself further than you thought you could, then land somewhere so beautiful that it all just melts away.
We’ll wander through the cobblestone streets of Antigua, push ourselves with an unforgettable overnight hike up the side of an active volcano, and come back down to reset on the beautiful black sand beaches of El Paredón.
Think early mornings, baby waves, salty air, and that feeling you only get when you do something that challenges you—in the best way. 🐢

ACCOMODATION
Over the course of the week, we’ll be staying in three carefully selected casas, each chosen for its location, atmosphere, and proximity to the experiences that make this trip so special.
While accommodations typically allow for room selection, rooms for this retreat will be thoughtfully assigned to ensure the best overall group experience and flow throughout the week.
-
Tucked just outside the heart of Antigua, Ojala is a thoughtfully designed boutique stay that blends modern comfort with natural, earthy tones. With open-air spaces, lush greenery, and a calm, grounded atmosphere, it feels like a quiet retreat while still being close to the city’s cobblestone streets and cafés.
-
Perched high on the slopes of Acatenango, our private camp is where the adventure really peaks — a cozy, remote basecamp with front-row views of Volcán Fuego erupting across the valley.
-
Casa Zala is a boutique hotel located at the heart of El Paredón, Guatemala, with the black-sand beach, mangroves, village and restaurants all just a short stroll away.
The perfect place to relax and recharge in between surf sessions or after a day full of exploring the mangroves. Ideal for solo travellers, couples, and those working remotely.
Born from our own experiences travelling the world, we realized the best trips didn’t come from packed schedules or polished itineraries — they came from good people, authentic experiences, and simply saying yes more often.
We create travel experiences where connection and adventure collide, bringing together a like minded group of people who believe the best moments in life happen when you’re surrounded by good company.
At its core, see you soon is community-driven travel. A place where travellers find their people, discover new parts of themselves, remember just how good life can be when you show up, slow down & let go.
DETAILS
-
You'll fly into La Aurora International Airport (GUA) in Guatemala City. It's well connected from most major North American cities, often with one stop.
-
Antigua is about 45 minutes from the airport. We'll coordinate a group shuttle so no one is navigating it alone — details will be shared closer to the trip.
-
We've got you. Group transport between Antigua and El Paredon is included and organized by us.
-
Room arrangements will be shared with the group ahead of time. If you have a preference or a specific request, just let us know and we'll do our best to make it work.
-
Sharing a room is part of the magic. It creates space for late-night chats, new friendships, and the kind of connection that doesn’t happen over small talk.
We thoughtfully pair roommates and do our best to honour preferences so everyone feels at ease.
-
Not a problem — just let us know when you apply and we'll make sure you're taken care of.
-
Yes — and we've done our homework. Antigua is one of the most visited cities in Central America, and El Paredon is a small, welcoming surf community. We'll always have eyes on the group and will brief everyone on how to move around comfortably and confidently.
-
Totally fine. There's plenty to do — beach walks, the pool, exploring the village, doing absolutely nothing. No pressure, ever.
-
Perfect, actually. El Paredon's beach break is great for beginners, and surf lessons are part of the experience. You don't need any experience — just a willingness to get in the water.
-
We will send a packing list close to departure but think layers for Acatenango (it gets cold at the summit), light and breathable clothes for El Paredon, reef-safe sunscreen, a good pair of broken-in hiking boots, and an open mind.
